Alright folks thanks for participating in the 1st round of 2011 GI Joe Q&A! This round does bring us some bad news, looks like some fan-favorite vehicles of the GI Joe A Real American Hero line won't be returning for the GI Joe 30th Anniversary line.

1) Hasbro has produced some impressive new figures that ended up released on either store exclusives or multipacks (the cartoon colored BAT, the 2008 Joe and Cobra 5 packs, Alpine, the Rise of Cobra TRU exclusive Snow Serpent, even Lt. Falcon in a comic pack). Has the potential of rereleasing some of these figures in the single figure assortment been pursued? Possibly a fan vote?
A) We have to be very careful about releasing exclusives in mainline. One of the reasons that we can call them exclusives is the fact that they can't be found anywhere else. While we may release similar figures and vehicles, the chances are you won't see the same ones as in the exclusive packs.

2) Throughout the years we've seen reissues of classic GI Joe vehicles at retail, and we think it's a reasonable assumption to think that the newer(relatively) the mold, the higher the chance for re-release; eventually. With that said, the Battle Corps vehicles were released towards the end of the GI Joe A Real American Hero line, and the WHALE was planned for a later release, but canceled in the mid 90's. Are the Battle Corps vehicles and WHALE molds still in usable condition, or have they been lost, and/or destroyed?
A) Sorry, they are not part of the current plan for 30th Anniversary. The WHALE and the Battle Corps vehicle molds were lost some years ago and these vehicles would need to be re-tooled.
