I really hope Mumm-ra's not an alien. That would be only thing about the new series that bothers me so far. I've just always loved the idea of Mumm-ra being an ancient Earth native.

I agree, Beast Arrow. I do miss the dramatic transformation a little, but overall the new Mumm-ra is a massive improvement over his classic counterpart.

I don't have quite the same appreciation for the original series as when I was a kid, and I didn't expect much from the new series or toys. I didn't even watch the premier until about a week later....

That was my only Thundercats toy as a kid, too! It was soooo awesome. Way better quality than my He-man Power Sword.

There was always something I didn't like about the original. He was my least favorite when I was a kid. I think it was his appearance. I like modern Panthro much, much more.

Maybe Panthro stole a MummTank and modded it into the Thundertank. He left Thundera with no knowledge of technology and came back with a rad supertank. It had to have come from somewhere.

I'd say it's more of a Technopyramid. And I think the Eye was his, and the Thundercats put it in the Sword. Also, the statues are totally in the sarcophagus room. There's a good shot of them in Ep. 3.
