Seems like a three episode thing.

Thanks for explaining it to me.

Actually its Superman/Clark Kent/Lois Lane as Clark has't told LL his real Identity.

The norm.

No prob.

Timm was tempted to make Clark reveal his identity to LL because they make Wonder Woman deduced Batman's identity in the episode when Bruce Wayne and Diana dance at a party. But they decided to hold it back with Superman/LL.

Poor Lois, doomed to always be the laughing stock of reporters everywhere.

It's even worse for the comics, which just rebooted the Lois/Clark marriage out of existence.

Yeah that's the worst. In todays comics.

Some fans of JL complained why the heck they can't make clark reveal his identity to Lois Lane, but they can for Batman and Wonderwoman.

I know a lot of older comic book fans (late 30s early 40s) that are giving up on DC after the reboot.

Do you know about OMD/BND Spider-man? That garbage made me drop the comic completely!

I've found the Superman books pretty good since the reboot, despite my disdain for them erasing the marriage. But what marvel did to Spider-man, I can't begin to overlook that.

Marvel decided in their infinite wisdom, to have Peter make a deal with Mephisto(the marvel equivalent of the devil) to save his aunts life, by selling Mephisto his marriage, and wiping it from continuity. So basically 20 years of continuity is now wrecked, because some editors at marvel wanted Peter to be single.

I haven't followed Comic books in a long time.

What did they do?

I got out of it when they split the X-men group of Woverine, Rogue, Longshot, Colossus, Dazzler, Havc, Psylocke, and Storm.

So he sold his wife for his aunt.

Sorry aunt, you are staying in the grave.

The thing is they don't need to make the story like that. They can find a way to safe Aunt may without destroying his marriage.

stormbringer 01-18-2012 09:47 PM

OMD/BND was an embarrassment to the character. It happened back in 2008, and about half the readership is gone.

The whole thing with Aunt may was done, so the Editor in chief Joe Quesada could justify his decades old dream of making Peter single again. Poor storytelling at its finest.

Agree.

Who came up with that idea? A relative of someone in Marvel?

I don't see Quesada being in his position that much longer.

Comics are struggling, a radical change can cost money.

The people working on BND Spidey were even bold enough to say at the beginning of it, that it didn't matter how bad sales got, that they would never undo it.

I think he could. Would have sorta a mobile lair instead of a stationary one. Would help him chase the Tcats easier.

yeah I hated that too. What kinda idiot gives up a supermodel wife to save the life of a woman so old she'd die in a few more years anyway?

Ridiculous wasn't it? Any issues I may have with the Tcats triangle, is nothing compared to the utter disgust I feel towards OMD/BND.

I wonder if he needs the BoO to power the ship.

That would give him a upper hand, I don't think they could stand up against that.

Sounds like they wanted to do that. That must have come from someone at the top level. Money is the name of the game.

I don't think he needs the book to power it. It seemed like the book was more of a guidance system and record log.

The ship might be badly damaged so mum-ra will probably capture the berbils to fix it which in turn will anger panthro. So panthro and his new arms with a built in "galick gun" feature might blast mum-ra all the way to hook mountain where you guessed it snow-meow awaits  and snarf laughs some more :D

Wasn't the ships main computer?

I wonder if they will touch on how the book and sword gets the omens name.

The sword likely got the omens name, for its sight beyond sight ability . Not sure how the book got it, maybe it can foretell the future in a limited way as well?

I wonder who was the first to use it and where does the prophecy of lion-o come from?

Think of how huge the Pyramid was with multiple rooms and all those different animal slaves. One tiny book isn't going to power it all.

The only things we've actually seen it be used for is a) a projector (for the globe), b) a control panel (when Leo brought up the globe), c) record keeping ( the book having all of the events that happened in the ship inside it), and possibly d) stone detection (not sure yet if it's finding the stones or if it already knows where they are).

The pyramid obviously still has some power source and computers because of a) how Grune got inside and b) Mumm-Ra's Storm Charger was still fully charged after thousands of years.

I agree, trust me. I am trying to see what everyones opinion is on the book.

I was wondering if the book was more significant than what we have seen.

I wonder if the main generator or engine is damage.
